A competition winning entry for a visitor centre on the beach at Hastings. Located next to an active fishing fleet and Grade II listed ‘net huts’ the form and materials of the design have a strong relationship to their maritime setting.
The Stade Maritime sits lightly on the site sheltering the public square from prevailing sea winds with its protective sweep.
